QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold proper state certification with Music endorsement
REPORTS TO: Director of Music
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Teachers work 187 days and are paid over 12 months
Position is available for the 2017-2018 school year - Pays additional stipend of $7,500.00
A Percussionist is preferred but all qualified candidates will be considered. Interviews will begin by February 8, 2017, and will continue until the position is filled.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Abide by state statutes, school board policies and regulations.
- Attend meetings and performs duties as assigned by administrators or supervisors.
- Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation.
- Serve on committees as assigned.
- Remain current on instructional practices in education. (e.g. instructional technology)
