PRIMARY PURPOSE / FUNCTION:

To facilitate and enhance the accomplishment of the instructional program by providing specialized support services. Duties include but are not limited to:  Install, maintain & repair commericial doors & door hardware.  Ability to cut keys & maintain accurate key records. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Technical knowledge preferred

Technical knowledge required for certain positions

General carpentry and cabinetry a plus

Knowledge of the basic principals of school plant and maintenance operations

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Calm and patient demeanor with students and others

Certification of specialized skills in one or more areas of maintenance

Specialized training in one or more areas of maintenance

Experience:

Minimum of two years work experience in the area of building maintenance all phases
